~ Happy Father’s Day ~
You know, although its been 20 years since he died, I still think about him every day….

1954 - Here he is at about 13 years old.
The back of this photo said “Hard Days Work 1975” (ahem, Playing Cards).
Back then he worked at a local saw mill. Before I was in school I remember my mom and I making him lunches and taking them down to him at the mill.

Crookston, MN 1984
When I was about 11 years old we took a trip to visit his old Army buddy. I remember it being very hot and humid there, but most of all I remember how happy my dad was - especially here.

I don’t remember him being an avid fisherman, but you know… on occasion he
would if we were near a lake. I do have one of his old fishing licenses though.

Around 1991
This is one of the last photo’s I took of my Dad and is how I like to picture him in my mind… In his recliner, listening to old country music while reading one of his Louis L’Amour books.
I hope you have great memories of your Dad too!
